  TATA Supports GFA

Tata Africa Holdings has supported the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in the just ended Glo Premier League with two brand-new TATA vehicles.

TATA Xenon the high-end lifestyle 4x4 was awarded to debutant league champions ‘Aduana Stars’ while the super efficient passenger car TATA Indica was granted to the GFA Operations team to provide support to the premier national football association.

The presentations were made at the recently held fifth edition of the Glo Premier League awards night at the State Banquet Hall, Accra. The well-attended event attracted several dignitaries including ministers of state, sports managers and many industry stakeholders.

“We at Tata are very excited to contribute to a sport that Ghanaians are so passionate about.

Tata has always supported sports right from the year 1920.

“In fact when our founder Sir JRD Tata was building a city in India, he insisted that it must have wide streets, lots of trees and grounds for football and cricket, I am honored today to represent Tata amongst such a brilliant gathering of dignitaries and sports enthusiasts from all over Ghana.” said Mr. Vivek Saraswat, General Manager of, Tata Africa Holdings.

Management of the GFA expressed gratitude to TATA for their support and encouraging contribution towards the local league and sports in the country.
