From meetings of the various planning committees on the World Cup to the launch and practices of the Supporters Unions numerous songs to the various sittings of the committee working on the Sports Bill.

The Vice-Chairman of the Ghana Cricket Association, Dr. William Kwabena  Ampofo, has called on the media and stakeholders with interest in Ghana Sports to pay more attention to it and help raise the its standard.

 

Cape Coast Stadium project to start soon..

Construction works on the Cape Coast Sports Stadium which was abandoned due to lack of funds will commence soon, Mrs. Ama Benyiwa-Doe, the Central Regional Minister has announced.

The Ho Sports Stadium will on Saturday, May 22, play host to the 15th Edition of World Athletics Day Competition among first and second cycle schools in the Ho municipality.

GHANA has again appealed to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to reconsider the ban, it slapped on Togo for withdrawing its national team from the African Cup of Nations held in Angola recently.
