Report On The 1st National Delegate Congress Of The Badminton Association Of Ghana..

INTRODUCTION

The Badminton Association held its 1st National Delegate Congress in Accra on Thursday, 27th May, 2010 where the Nine Executive Board Members were elected and accordingly sworn into office for a 4 year term and eligible for re-election for another term. Seventeen (17) eligible delegates representing various stakeholders across the country attended the Congress with 8 nominees for the various positions including; the president, vice president, treasurer and 5 other members.

Lartey & Oforiwah Emerge GTTA Senior Champs..

Felix Lartey of Ghana Immigration Service and Efua Oforiwaa Owusu – Agyei of CEPS emerged winners of the male and female categories of the GTTA National Seniors Singles Open Championship held at the D.G Hathiramani Sports Hall of the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra at the weekend.
 

Africa zone 3 Table Tennis championship - Cote D' Ivoire..

Ghana’s National Table Tennis youth team comprising four young boys and a girl, won historic 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals at the African Table Tennis Federation Zone III (Laurent Gbagbo) Table Tennis Championship held in Abidjan, La Cote D’Ivoire from July 22 to 26.
 

1st International Umpires Examination..

GTTA successfully conducted the first every International Umpires Examination for twelve (12) Ghanaian Table Tennis Officials (2 females and 10 males) on Wednesday, 23rd April, 2008 in Accra.
 

Africa Juniors and Cadet Table Tennis Championships..

From April 4th to 12th, 2008, 17 Ghanaians represented the nation at the Africa Juniors and Cadet Table Tennis Championships in Alexandria, Egypt.
